Why are corporate donations harmful?
This is because corporate donations violate one of the foundations of democracy, equality. There are those who try to justify corporate donations on the basis of freedom another fundamental principle, freedom. However, the pfreedom, which violate equality, is not allowed under democracy.
So how do corporate donations violate equality?
In Japan, a ruling party in power receives most of the corporate donations. The ruling party then implements policies favorable to these donors, such as tax cuts and subsidies. This system makes the ruling party and the corporations richer. However, most citizens are not included in this system. To make matter worse, the money used to enrich politicians and corporations through this system comes from the high taxes that citizens are charged by national and local governments, and the added prices citizens pay to those corporations for goods or for services.
Most politicians of the ruling party justify the policy by saying that it is “policy for the growth of the nation,” but what about the results of the policy?
Over the past 30 years, the gap between rich and poor has been widening, even though real wages have remained almost flat or declined. While citizens are becoming poorer, the wages of such people as belong to the system, which gives the donors preferential treatment, have risen significantly, and they become richer. At the same time, the poverty is one of the main causes of the decline in the birth rate.
It absolutely clear that policies that continue to take more and more money from citizens, making only some richer and many poorer and making it harder for more citizens to have a family or children, have failed. Such a system and policies have not only never worked for the growth of the nation but also are contrary to equality, which is one of the foundations of democracy.
Thus, corporate donations must be abolished because they are one of the major forces promoting anti-equality policies.
Another important reason why corporate donations are harmful and must be abolished is that, despite the introduction of a system of political party subsidies funded by our taxes on the condition that corporate donations be abolished, the government has not abolished corporate donations and continues to practice double-dipping of corporate donations and political party subsidies.
For the above reasons, corporations donations are harmful and must be abolished.

Wall Egg and Seeds
「Wall Egg and Seeds」が公平な社会の実現の「種」になることを祈って。

Hello,
The name of this site, Wall Egg and Seeds, was inspired by a speech that a Japanese writer gave abroad in which he used the words “Wall” and “Egg” to describe the relationship between the powerful and the weak, and I combined these words with “Seeds”.
For me, the “wall” is the mighty power that denies democracy. The “egg” is the individual who tries to win and protect democracy in the name of democracy.
Most people feel that when “egg” hit the “wall,” she or he just breaks and the “wall” doesn’t take damage , and while there are many people who stand on the side of the “wall,” the number of people who try to stand on the side of the “egg” seems to be seriously decreasing. If this situation continues, I cannot help but feel that true democracy, far from being realized, but will be relegated somewhere as mere idealism.
Now that many adults have become silent about democracy, I have started “Wall Egg and Seeds” in the hope that it will be an opportunity for as many people as possible to think about the importance of democracy and take a step towards realizing it. I am not very good at writing, but thank you for reading.
May “Wall Egg and Seeds” be a “seed” for the realization of a fair world!
